With Josie Raison
You are invited to join us for a fun, inspiring and restorative afternoon. We will learn how to connect with ourselves and each other through:
Yoga Movement
Breathwork
and Thai Massage
What to expect?
Yoga - Josie will begin by offering a fun yoga practice designed to help you move and breathe more freely. When we feel more open and settled in our bodies we begin to experience more connection and joy in our lives.
Partner Yoga - practicing yoga with a partner can be an uplifting experience, helping us get a little deeper into our postures.
Breathwork - we will explore how we can use the breath to help us connect our mind with our body, developing an overall sense of wellbeing.
Thai Massage - What is Thai Massage? Thai massage is sometimes called ‘lazy person’s yoga’. It’s a clothed practice where the recipient, lying on a yoga mat has pressure applied to aching muscles, or moved into a series of yoga-like postures with gentle stretching, sometimes static, sometimes more dynamic movement. Typically, a Thai massage practice will start at the feet, ending with some relaxing head and neck massage.
Miles, a qualified and experienced Thai Massage therapist will guide us through a very restoring and relaxing Thai massage sequence. Paired with yoga, and partner yoga, Thai Yoga Massage is a complete holistic, meditative and connecting practice.
You don't need to come with a partner or a friend, the practice will be led with some initial demonstration of technique, and then one person giving, mirroring Miles’s lead, while the other receives, and then a swap around.
The aim is for you to feel totally restored, relaxed and rejuvenated by the end of the afternoon.

We will finish with herbal tea, vegan cakes and a chance to chat and ask any questions. The workshop is open to everyone, whatever your yoga experience or ability.
