The ancient Celtic fire festival of Beltane is all about fertility, abundance and celebrating the profusion of new life that is bursting forth everywhere.
The Earth energies are at their strongest and most active at this time and we can connect into this and welcome in the potential to see our deepest desires becoming reality. Join us in this special location, at this potent time of year to:
connect deeply with your hearts-desire
find inspiration and motivation to move towards your desire becoming reality
receive deep rest and renewal
develop strength and resilience in body and mind
be held and nurtured in a safe space to explore your inner world
What to expect:
This full-day retreat will begin with a welcome warming tea and a settling meditation to ground and become present, to set intentions and recognise where we are at this time. We’ll move slowly into a soft flowing yoga practice to gently open the body and awaken subtle energies and we’ll complete the morning with pranayama and yoga nidra, a powerful lying down meditation to bring us into a state of calmness, bliss, joy and connection.
We’ll then enjoy a homemade yummy nutritional lunch before heading out to the beautiful grounds of Hatfield Park for mindful walking (barefoot optional!) and deep connections to nature. Once we’ve had our fill of nature, we’ll journey back to the comfort of the studio to enjoy a deeply nourishing yin and restorative yoga session followed by a another yoga nidra session. To top off the day we will close with meditation and pranayama as well as reflections.
Absolutely no experience necessary, just an open mind and a love of Nature!
