  • The Oak House Studio & Therapies Church Lane (off Great North Road), George's Gate Hatfield, England, AL9 5HX United Kingdom (map)

With Holly Saxton

Join Holly for a fun, flowing, Sunday morning in the main studio exploring a Rocket inspired Vinyasa Flow and Arm Balances. This workshop is designed to help you build confidence in your arm balances or learn foundational techniques if you are just starting your journey on taking flight! Or maybe, you have an established practice and would like the opportunity to enjoy an extended, dynamic vinyasa class to re-set and re-charge your weekend!

Rocket Yoga is a dynamic, breath led Vinyasa flow designed to ignite your strength, flexibility, and focus. Based on the traditional Ashtanga yoga system, Rocket offers a playful yet challenging experience that breaks the traditional mould. In this session, you'll move through an steady yet flowing sequence, slowly building heat, with drills to prepare you to explore arm balances such as crow, side crow and pincha! which we’ll break down together to explore technique and build confidence. The group size is capped to allow Holly to offer personalised support and adjustments. Holly curates playlists that flow as you flow, sync movement with breath and beat, and ensures there is always a focus on breath count and alignment.

What to expect:

Feel free to arrive between 09.00 - 09.15 for a coffee and to get settled

09.30 We’ll open the practice and explore some pranayama (breathwork) and set intentions

Then, we’ll start to flow and explore our Rocket Yoga sequence, taking breaks to discuss and explore drills and technique in our arm balances, weaving them into our sequence, then, taking restorative postures & winding down into a long Savasana.

11.30 Feel free to stay for refreshments and a chat after practice 🎃 Tea, coffee, kombuchas and snacks are included in the price.

Investment: £25
