We are pleased to host Paula in another instalment of her in depth yoga for beginners course at The Oak House. Beginning on Wednesday the 8th of January until the 26th of February. This course is perfect for those who are new to yoga or if you’re looking for a yoga ‘refresher’ course. The classes are gentle, kind and inclusive, where we will build knowledge and postures week-by-week slowly and thoroughly, step by step and together, while addressing key points and alignment in the practice. You will be guided through the basics of yoga postures (asanas), sequencing, healthy individual alignment and breath techniques (pranayama). You'll also learn the foundations of simple meditation, relaxation and mindfulness techniques.

What’s included in the course:

Breaking down postures to learn foundations of the yoga poses.

Learn basic anatomy to help understand postural alignment.

Address any injuries and ailments to understand how a yoga practice will benefit you.

Breathing techniques. (pranayama).

Exploring the art of stillness to quieten the mind.

The Foundations of meditation, relaxation and mindfulness practices.

You will also be emailed pictures of the postures we learn each week for you to practice at home.
