The Art of Flourishing - Yoga Retreat

  • The Oak House Studio & Therapies Church Lane (off Great North Road), George's Gate Hatfield, England, AL9 5HX United Kingdom (map)

With Woodland Yoga

Spring is a season of extraordinary possibility. Everywhere we look, the natural world is awakening, unfurling and bursting into life. The blossom is fleeting, the days are lengthening and there’s a beautiful sense of abundance in the air.

Inspired by the vitality and traditions of this season, The Art of Flourishing is an invitation to pause, reconnect and explore what it really means to thrive.

Flourishing isn’t simply about growing, achieving or striving for more. Sometimes it’s about slowing down, listening to what we need and creating the conditions to thrive.

In our busy lives, it’s easy to push through tiredness, overlook our needs and give our energy to everything and everyone else. Yet, just like the natural world, we need time to rest, replenish and be nourished if we’re to flourish.

Your Retreat Includes

  • Awaken | Mindful Yoga

Begin by gently awakening your body through an accessible, flowing yoga practice. We’ll explore mindful movement, reconnect with bodily sensations and create space for energy and vitality to flow, without pushing or striving.

Breathe | The Power of the Breath

Discover how our breath can influence how we feel, supporting us to settle, restore and reconnect with ourselves. Through guided breath awareness and gentle breathing practices, we’ll explore ways to work with our breath as a resource for everyday wellbeing.

    Nourish | Nature & Connection

Enjoy a delicious seasonal lunch, time to connect with others and an opportunity to immerse yourself in the beautiful natural surroundings of Hatfield Park. Through a mindful nature walk and gentle reflection, we’ll explore the abundance of spring and the importance of noticing and appreciating the present moment.

Restore | Deep Rest & Relaxation

Finish the day with deeply nourishing practices combining restorative and yin yoga, sound meditation and relaxation. An opportunity to soften, let go of doing and simply allow yourself to be.

Throughout the day, there’ll also be opportunities for reflection, journaling and moments of stillness, allowing you to explore what flourishing means for you.

Your day will look something like:

  • 09.45-10.00 – Arrival at the Oak House where you’ll be welcomed with warming tea,

  • 10.00-10.15 – Welcoming circle to arrive and set intentions for the day ahead,
