Space to Breathe, Permission to Be is a gentle, nourishing day retreat designed to offer what so many of us crave - room to pause, soften and simply rest.

In a world that constantly asks for more, this day is an invitation into less. Less noise. Less pace. Less expectation. Inspired by the gentle blossoming of Spring, we gather to honour your natural rhythm and create space - space to breathe deeply, space to release what you’ve been carrying and space to reconnect with yourself without pressure or performance.

​This is not about pushing, achieving, expectation, perfection or striving.

A Day to Unwind, Restore & Reconnect

Let your shoulders drop, your breath deepen and your nervous system settle. Your day will unfold gently and spaciously:

  • Opening Circle & Welcome
    A soft landing into the day. Time to arrive, settle and release the mental and physical clutter of everyday life.

  • Mindful Movement, Meditation & Breathwork
    Gentle, supportive yoga practices to reconnect with your body, open internal space and rediscover the ease of your breath.

  • Nourishing Seasonal Lunch
    A lovingly prepared homemade, seasonal meal designed to nurture and replenish, made by our very own retreat chef Sarah.

  • Walk in Nature
    Time outdoors exploring the grounds of Hatfield House to breathe fresh air, move slowly and reconnect with the grounding presence of the natural world and the blossoming of Spring.

  • ​Sound Bath
    An afternoon of deep rest, softness and integration - time and space to fully unwind.

  • ​​Close, Tea and Homemade Brownies
    Our day retreats wouldn't be complete without Sarah's legendary chocolate brownies, time to chat, ground and "come back down" before your journey home.
