With Kate Codrington
Come and lean into a community of like-minded postmenopausal folk who, now that menopause is more or less navigated, are wondering how the hell to do the next bit, Second Spring.
When we come out of menopause blinking into the light and on the brink of a new kind of unknown, it’s hard to relate to the images of 50-something celebrities in bikinis, let alone being a crone or hag already. And ‘Wise Woman’?? You have to be kidding! But by acknowledging our journey, and leaning into a community who get it, we can write a new story for ourselves.
You are invited to come together, share experiences of menopause, of where we’ve been, what we’ve learned and look forwards into the future, following the breadcrumbs towards the Second Spring and Second Summer of our 60’s and explore the possibilities for creativity, connectedness, vitality and joy.
You are invited to bring your tenderness, your triumphs and your tiredness to explore your next chapter with an intimate group of like-minded folk
Who is this for:
This day will be for you if you’re towards the end of your menopause process or feeling the Spring breezes of postmenopause, feeling a little vulnerable and looking for a new way of being in yourself. If you regard yourself as a sensitive, curious person who is centred around personal growth and wonder:
How this Spring stuff can manifest when I still have menopause symptoms?
How to connect with the preciousness of life and a to-do list
If you long to have your epic journey of menopause acknowledged
Are committing to your values in a world that demands compromise
Observe your struggle to own both your vulnerability and your strengths
Want to find your own way of living in an ageing body
All my offerings come from the understanding that you are not broken and don’t need fixing, and that given a safe-enough environment you can readily access your own wisdom or intuition.
I take great care to set up a clear container with my personal practices along with guidelines and agreements with the group. I am always responsive to serving the energy and needs of the group and encourage everyone to take responsibility for their process, as far as possible.
The day is limited to 15 people to create intimacy and spaciousness.
