A gentle afternoon of Yin Yoga, meditation and journaling to release the pressure of resolutions, reflect on the past year and welcome 2027.
Every January, the whole “new year, new me” thing leaves you feeling like you're failing. You want goals and plans for the year ahead. You like having direction, working towards something and looking back at the end of the year with that lovely feeling of a job well done.
But every December, you find yourself exhausted and behind, even though that's not who you are. Frankly, you dread the onslaught of social media posts about New Year's resolutions, and you start asking yourself, “What's wrong with me? Why can't I just get going like everyone else?”
But the holidays are exhausting. You can't jump straight from weeks of doing, giving and organising into a new set of goals without risking burnout.
“You need a pause, a reset and a little recovery”.
And there's no new you that you need to go out and find or transform into. You're already awesome. You just need a moment to remember that, so you can build your goals from a place of abundance and self-love instead of lack.
What if you let yourself hibernate a little longer?
Join me for an afternoon of gentle yoga, sound meditation and grounded journaling to help you slow down, reflect and approach the year ahead differently.
Together, we'll explore:
Yin Yoga for a nervous system downshift. Long, supported postures invite deep rest, softening and emotional ease, giving you space to slow down after the demands of the festive season.
A simple meditation practice. Let go of unrealistic expectations and give your brain a chance to close some of those tabs that have been open 24/7.
Grounded journaling. The antidote to resolution culture. Reflect on 2026 without being harsh on yourself or turning your reflections into another endless to-do list.
A framework for the year ahead. Explore what you want to let go of, what you want to carry forward and how to make plans that build on who you already are.
You'll leave with a little more breathing room, a gentler perspective on the year ahead and a journaling practice you can return to throughout 2027.
No resolutions to keep. No new version of yourself to chase. Just space to rest, remember who you are and decide what you want to make room for next.
