A Pocket of Soft, Slow, Still - A Winters Day Retreat

  • The Oak House Studio & Therapies Church Lane (off Great North Road), George's Gate Hatfield, England, AL9 5HX United Kingdom (map)

With Anna Taylor

While the festive season can bring with it many joys, there can often feel much to do, at a time of year when we are low on resources. We might crave time and space to soften, to slow and still, yet struggle to carve this out for ourselves.

This day retreat will offer you the time and space to drop into the rhythm of winter – a time of year where nature is reminding us to turn inwards, reduce output, rest and restore.

My intention is that our time together will feel like a warm, winter balm allowing you to gently unwind and deeply relax so that you feel recharged for the festivities that lie ahead.

We will take our time to:

  • catch our breath and unwind tension through a morning flowing practice.

  • be nourished by a delicious lunch

  • soak up the nature around us with a mindful walk through the beautiful grounds at Hatfield House.

  • soak up deep rest with an afternoon of restorative yoga (think dropping into the support of bolsters while being wrapped in the warmth of blankets).

  • close with a winter yoga nidra (guided relaxation)

All of which will support you in feeling topped up, rested and resource for what the last few weeks of the year hold ahead.

Investment: £115 (includes lunch)
