Comfort & Calm: Yoga For Cancer Support (fortnightly community sessions)

Introducing ‘Comfort and Calm Yoga for Cancer Support’ a gentle yoga program thoughtfully designed for individuals navigating the challenges of cancer. Our classes blend soothing, restorative movements with a calming soundbath session to finish, fostering a peaceful environment to breathe deeply, connect within and assist in bringing a sense of balance and rest for yourself. Our certified instructors are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for all participants, regardless of experience level. Embrace a journey towards inner peace and strength, allowing yourself time to find balance and healing through this gentle, holistic approach.

What to expect:

Gentle Movements with Rebecca: Engage in soft, restorative yoga poses, tailored to your comfort, aiming to ease tension, enhance flexibility, and support overall well-being.
Rebecca is a qualified yoga facilitator in Yoga for Cancer, under the guidance of her teacher Vicky Fox, as well as completing her 300hr Yoga Teacher training with Sue Fuller and continuing certification in Trauma Informed Yoga. 

Sound bath with Nicola Kevans: Relax into a comfortable, supported space after your restorative yoga session, whilst Nicola guides you with a sound bath, using Tibetan sound bowls, the frequencies from the bowls are used to assist in a sense of relaxation and wellbeing. Nicola is an experienced Holistic Therapist, Transformative Coach, Sound and Reiki practitioner.

A selection of facilitators and companies will also occasionally attend the sessions to offer talks and advice on their holistic offerings & products, or there will be time to connect and chat with other participants, journal or take a mindful walk around the stunning grounds of Hatfield Park.

These 2 hour sessions will run bi-weekly on a full concession, drop-in basis in the cosy and welcoming Donkey Store Studio, a short walk through the grounds of Hatfield Park, from the main car park. Bolsters, blankets and mats will be provided. 

Spaces are limited to 8 people. You will be required to fill out a short health questionnaire beforehand.
