Embracing the Menopause Journey: A Retreat for Self-Care, Connection, and Empowerment

In the hustle of everyday life, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Some of us are still raising young children, while others are watching young adults spread their wings and leave the nest. Many are caring for aging parents, all while juggling work, relationships, and financial pressures. And amidst all these responsibilities, where do we place ourselves? Too often, we end up at the very bottom of our own priority list.

But here’s the truth, YOU deserve care, too. You deserve time, space, and understanding as you navigate this profound transition. That’s exactly why we’ve created the Menopause Retreat Afternoon a dedicated space for you to embrace, empower, energise, and evolve.

Why a Menopause Retreat?

Menopause is a significant milestone, one that often comes with its own set of challenges. Hormonal shifts can affect everything from sleep to mood, energy levels, and overall well-being. Yet, despite being a universal experience, menopause is still shrouded in stigma and misunderstanding. Many women feel alone in their struggles, unsure where to turn for support.

Recognising this Silvana & The Oak House have curated an afternoon of expert led sessions, meaningful discussions, and rejuvenating experiences, all aimed at helping you reclaim your energy and confidence and that the feeling of being seen, heard and supported is essential during this phase of life.

This retreat is designed to provide not just information, but a safe, nurturing environment where you can connect with others who truly understand what you're going through. We’ve enlisted the support of 2 of our in-house experts in their offerings; Yvette is an experienced medical herbalist with an extensive knowledge of plant medicine and nutrition. Tia Harris is a wonderfully intuitive energetic sound healer bringing you into a blissful state of rest and rejuvenation.

What to expect:

Menopause 101: Knowledge is Power
Led by me Silvana Greenfield, this session will equip you with a vital toolkit to manage menopause with confidence and clarity. Understanding your body’s changes is the first step to embracing this transition.

Gut Health Workshop: Nourish from Within
Your gut plays a crucial role in hormone balance. Yvette Lavender will share practical tips on how to support your body with the right nutrition, helping you feel more balanced and in control.

Sound Therapy Session: Restore and Rebalance
End the day with a deeply soothing sound therapy experience with Tia Harris, designed to help you release stress, reconnect with yourself, and leave feeling centred and grounded.

Find Your Tribe
One of the most powerful aspects of this retreat is the opportunity to share lived experiences in a supportive space. Whether you choose to listen or speak, you’ll find comfort in knowing that you are not alone.

Healthy Refreshments
Because self-care also means nourishing your body, we’ll provide delicious and wholesome refreshments to keep you energised throughout the afternoon.

Why this matters:

This retreat isn’t just about learning, it’s about reclaiming time for yourself. In a world where women are expected to be caregivers, nurturers, and multi-taskers, it’s time to prioritise YOU.

We see you. We hear you. We understand the challenges you face. And we invite you to take this opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and invest in your wellbeing.

Join us at The Oak House Studio & Therapies and take the first step in embracing this new chapter with strength, knowledge, and support.

About your host:

Silvana Greenfield – Women’s Health Advocate & Wellness Coach.

With a deep passion for health and wellness, I specialise in empowering individuals to make sustainable lifestyle changes through personalised coaching while advocating for greater awareness in all areas of women’s health.

After spending over 25 years in the computer games industry, my own experience with perimenopause revealed a critical gap in support and understanding. This turning point led me to shift my career towards mental well-being and women’s health advocacy, both inside and out the workplace.

Today, I run a thriving health and wellness coaching practice, working with clients in the games industry and beyond. As a Henpicked licensed trainer, I also deliver workplace menopause and menstruation training, helping organisations create supportive and informed environments.

My mission is simple: to guide individuals toward holistic well-being, mentor them in embracing their authentic selves, and normalise conversations around women’s health through education and advocacy.
