Marina Rice

Marina brings a joyful and adventurous spirit to her yoga classes, embracing the diversity of body structures and abilities among her students. With a commitment to inclusivity, she incorporates options and modifications, encouraging each practitioner to explore their body with kindness and acceptance. Marina's teaching philosophy prioritises building strength and mobility as foundational elements before advancing flexibility.

Throughout her life, Marina has navigated anxiety, which has deeply informed her approach to teaching. She integrates mindfulness, meditation, and breathwork into her classes, fostering a stronger and calmer mind among her students. Despite lacking a background in sports or gymnastics, Marina discovered in yoga a profound source of physical and mental strength. She attests to feeling stronger and healthier in her 40s than ever before in her twenties.

With over 15 years of personal yoga practice, Marina completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2019. She has since pursued advanced training in Yin, Rocket, Vinyasa, Anatomy, and Pranayama, accumulating over 600 hours of Teacher Trainings. Marina's journey as a teacher remains ongoing as she continues to learn and evolve, embodying the role of a perpetual student committed to personal growth and the enrichment of her students' yoga experiences.
