Yoga for me has been and continues to be a journey of transformation, both on and off the mat. I qualified as a 500hr yoga teacher in 2017 after discovering the effectiveness of yoga on illness and injury rehabilitation. Since then, my passion for exploring dysfunctional movement and its physical and mental effects, have led me to deepen my knowledge. I am also trained in Breathwork & Pranayama, Somatic Movement, meditation and Ayurveda.

My method of teaching is influenced by Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin styles of yoga and I use a therapeutic approach in my classes. I combine Somatic Movement (small focused movements to release tension in the body) with yoga, to help create ease in the yoga practice, deepen the felt sense of the body and promote mindful, functional movement. I teach classes which are inclusive and I encourage you to work with your body’s innate intelligence to create a practice that meets your needs every time you step onto the mat.

Ultimately, my aim is to empower you to take charge of your practice and with insightful guidance, help you create more balance in your life. One of my greatest joys is to witness the positive effect yoga has on my students.
